Giarratana baked onion

INGREDIENTS:

2 Giarratana onions

Extra virgin oil

Bread crumb

Pecorino cheese

Salt

Origan

Hot pepper

Capers (if you want)

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

Take two big Giarratana onions and cut them into rounds; put bread crumb, grated pecorino and salt in a dish;
Soak the cut onions in the extra virgin oil and then soak them in the spiced bread crumb; put them in a baking tin and spice them ( with origan, pepper, capers and mint).
Bake them  for 20 minutes.
